The Progress 49 Russian cargo ship, delivering almost 3 tons of supplies, docked Wednesday at 9:33 a.m. EDT to the International Space Station, following its successful launch from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan at 3:41 a.m. Progress 49 is delivering 2.9 tons of supplies to the orbiting complex, including propellant, oxygen, air, water, spare parts, and experiment hardware and maintenance equipment. On Thursday, astronauts are set to begin an excursion at about 8 a.m. EDT to repair an ammonia leak in one of the station's radiators. Two spacewalkers will install jumpers to bypass the leak with a spare radiator already located on the station's truss.
