The SubSonex JSX-2, a single-seat jet small enough to be flown for personal use, will sell for an introductory price of $125,000 although customers will have to add the engine, fuel system, retractable landing gear, avionics and interior. The JSX-2, built by Oshokosh-based Sonex, has a wingspan of 18 feet and a maximum weight of 900 pounds. Models will have an engine capable of 257 pounds of thrust, a cruise speed of 180 miles per hour, and a range of more than 300 miles.
