An early forecast shows a 70 percent chance of favorable weather for Sunday morning’s planned launch from Cape Canaveral of a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon capsule that will deliver nearly 5,000 pounds of cargo to the International Space Station. SpaceX is launching its third of 12 missions under a $1.6 billion NASA resupply contract. Lift off is scheduled for 4:41 a.m. EDT. While the mission to the ISS is important, many are talking about the fact that SpaceX will attempt to recover the rocket from the ocean after it returns to Earth, and reuse it. Future missions, will use legs built onto the rocket to gently fall to land. (Image Credit: SpaceX)
