A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, delivering a half-dozen commercial communications satellites into orbit, completing a mission for Orbcomm Inc. While the satellites were successfully launched, a controlled landing test of the reusable booster ended less successfully. SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said that more work was needed to determine what caused the loss of hull integrity when it landed. With this launch complete, the SpaceX plans to make its next commercial satellite launch within a few weeks. (Image Credit: SpaceX)
