Practical Methods for Aircraft and Rotorcraft Flight Control Design and Hands-on Training Using CONDUIT®

Mark Tischler is an ADD Senior Technologist and Flight Control Technology group leader. He has published widely on topics of aircraft dynamics and control and was organizing editor of Advances in Aircraft Flight Control (Taylor & Francis, 1996), the author of Aircraft and Rotorcraft System Identification: Engineering Methods With Flight Test Examples (AIAA 2006 and 2012), an author most recently of Practical Methods for Aircraft and Rotorcraft Flight Control Design: An Optimization Based Approach (AIAA, 2017). Dr. Tischler received his Ph.D. from the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Stanford University.

Tom Berger is a member of the Flight Control Technology group at ADD. He works on aircraft and rotorcraft system identification, flight control, and handling qualities. His primary research interest is in the emerging field of high speed handling qualities requirements for advanced rotorcraft configurations. He is a coauthor of Practical Methods for Aircraft and Rotorcraft Flight Control Design: An Optimization Based Approach (AIAA, 2017).
