      24-26 March 2014, State Capitol Building, Govenor's Council's Chamber, Sacramento, California
      A multiple day event at the California State Capitol in Sacramento, CA, intended to educate state lawmakers about California's economically important aerospace industry. On Monday, 24 March, the California Legislature is expected to a pass resolution recognizeing March as California Aerospace Month 2014.  Tuesday, 25 March, will feature a an informational hearing of the Joint Select Committees on Aerospace, Launch California:  Leading the Nation into Space, which will examine the cutting edge space research and manufacturing taking place in the Golden State.  A roundtable discussion with policymakers and industry leaders will follow before a reception celebrating aerospace is held in the Governor's Council Room.  The activities will conclude with attendees visiting with members of the Assembly and Senate on Wednesday, 26 March.

      A multiple day event at the California State Capitol, in Sacramento, CA, intended to educate state lawmakers about California's economically important aerospace industry. On Tuesday, 12 March, AIAA hosted a breakfast panel discussion in the Governor’s Council’s Chambers for members and staff of the California state government. Followed over the next several days by meetings with individual representatives.

The event’s theme was: “California Aerospace: Stuck in the Past, or Rocketing into the Future?”
