    Top leaders from government, industry and academia convened at the 50th AIAA Aerospace Sciences Meeting, New Horizons Forum, and Aerospace Exhibition, 9-12 January in Nashville, TN, to discuss “Advancing the Science of Flight Technology.” Speakers included: Gen. William L. Shelton, commander, U.S. Air Force Space Command; Michael P. Huerta, acting administrator, FAA; Jim Maser, president, Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne; Dr. Alton (“Al”) Romig, vice president and general manager, Lockheed Martin Skunk Works; George Whitesides, president and CEO, Virgin Galactic; Michael D.
