|AIAA CALLS FOR BOARD OF DIRECTORS NOMINATIONS
Ten Upcoming Vacancies to be Filled; Elections Take Place in Early 2013
June 20, 2012 – Reston, Va. – The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) today issued a call for nominations to fill ten upcoming vacancies on its board of directors.
Nominations will be accepted for the following positions:
- Vice President-Elect, Technical Activities
- Vice President-Elect, Member Services
- Director –at-Large
- Director-at-Large, International
- Director – Technical, Information Systems
- Director – Technical, Propulsion and Energy
- Director – Region IV
- Director – Region V
- Director – Region VII
AIAA members may nominate themselves or other qualified members by submitting a nomination through the AIAA website at www.aiaa.org/BODNomination by July 25, 2012. Eligible members of AIAA will vote on the nominees in early 2013, and newly elected members of the board of directors will begin their terms of office in May 2013.
