    AIAA Accepting Board of Directors Nominations

    June 14, 2013 – Reston, Va. – The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) today issued a call for nominations to fill ten upcoming vacancies on its board of directors.

    Nominations will be accepted for the following positions:

    • Vice President-Elect, Finance
    • Vice President-Elect, International Activities
    • Vice President-Elect, Publications
    • Vice President-Elect, Standards
    • Director – Technical, Aircraft and Atmospheric Systems Group
    • Director – Technical, Engineering and Technology Management Group
    • Director – Technical, Space and Missile Systems Group
    • Director – At-Large
    • LDirector – At-Large, International
    • Director – Region I


    AIAA members in good standing may nominate any AIAA member in good standing via the AIAA website at www.aiaa.org/BodNomination by August 9, 2013. In August the 2014 Nominating Committee will select candidates from among the names received for each office. Eligible members of AIAA will vote on the candidates in early 2014, and the newly elected board members will begin their terms of office in May 2014.
