scholarships Money to Learn Through an expanding scholarship program, AIAA awards 30 scholarships annually to undergraduate students and 14 to graduate students in science or engineering programs related to AIAA's aerospace mission. Our goal is to attract top science and engineering students to aerospace fields … to provide high-visibility recognition of these students and their work … to furnish financial assistance to aerospace students in need … and to assure the availability of talented professionals that the aerospace industry will require in the years ahead. AIAA Foundation Scholarships The AIAA Foundation funds a number of scholarships to both undergraduate- and graduate-level students. This furthers a key part of its mission: supporting the success of future aerospace professionals. The AIAA Foundation's undergraduate scholarship program offers 30 scholarships of $2000 - $2500 to college sophomores, juniors, and seniors each year. All recipients can apply to renew their scholarship annually until they graduate. And through the annual graduate scholarship program, the AIAA Foundation presents ten graduate awards worth $5000 each and four graduate awards of $10,000 each. Recognition for Technical Writing In addition to monetary awards, the AIAA Foundation also recognizes Masters' level students for their technical writing skills.
