Room rates are $91 for singles and $101 for doubles, plus applicable room tax. Please specify in advance the time and date of arrival and departure and identify yourself with the AIAA meeting. These rooms will be held for AIAA until 16 December 2007, and then released for use by the general public. Most hotels will not honor late arrivals unless it is specified in advance that you or your company agrees to pay for your room if you fail to show. After 1800 hrs, a room not guaranteed is considered a “no show” and will be offered to the next available customer. Government employees—There are a limited number of sleeping rooms available at the government per diem rate; ID required. Please identify yourself with the AIAA meeting

Served by 11 airlines, Reno can be reached easily from anywhere in the world. The Grand Sierra Resort operates continuous shuttle bus service to and from the airport. The Grand Sierra Resort is a city within itself, boasting 35 meeting rooms, 50 bowling lanes, 8 indoor tennis courts, restaurants in various price ranges, and a wealth of retail shops. During January the weather is crisp, clear, and cool. Reno is within 45 minutes of one of the world’s largest snow areas—Lake Tahoe and Incline Village. Perhaps after four days of concentrated sessions at the hotel, you can plan some time to relax and ski in the high country.
