The Impulse to Explore
Igniting a Passion for Space

JPC LogoThe impulse to explore is as old as humanity itself.

It has compelled us to spread out, to develop technologies, to advance our sciences, and to seek new frontiers.

As we face the final frontier of space, we are confronted with two challenges: the need to make access to space affordable, and the need to inspire a passion for space in the next generation. It is our privilege to lay the foundation for tomorrow’s builders, explorers, and settlers of space.

These are tall challenges, but then, we are a resourceful species. Let’s do something remarkable.

-- Allan Goff
Novatia, Inc.

In 2006, we mark the 80th anniversary of the world’s first successful liquid-fuel rocket launch. The 42nd Joint Propulsion Conference, taking place in Sacramento, California, will be the place for propulsion providers and customers to reinvigorate the vision, passion, and solutions to satisfy tomorrow’s opportunities.
