Accompanying Persons
All accompanying persons are invited to meet at 1000 hrs on Monday, 21 August, for coffee and pastries. Information about local attractions, activities, tours, and shows will be available at this time.



Awards Luncheon
This year’s awards luncheon will take place on Tuesday, 22 August, at 1200 hrs. Tickets are included in the registration fee where indicated. Additional tickets may be purchased for $50 at the AIAA onsite registration desk.



Exhibits

The exhibits will be held 22–23 August 2006. Exhibit hours are as follows:

Tuesday, 22 August
Exhibit Hall Open: 1000–1600 hrs
Wednesday, 23 August
Exhibit Hall Open: 1000-1700 hrs
Reception 1730–1900 hrs

Graduate Student Paper Competition
The AIAA Guidance, Navigation and Control (GN&C) Technical Committee is sponsoring a Graduate Student Paper Competition. The goal of the competition is to increase student interest and participation in AIAA and the GN&C conference. Six finalists, from a pool of submitted papers, have been selected for presentation at a special session to be held Sunday, 20 August, from 1800–2100 hrs. Inquiries regarding room location can be made at the registration desk. Conference participants are encouraged to attend this special session. Each finalist will also present his/her paper in a regular conference session and will receive a $600 award. Scoring for the Graduate Student Competition is based on both written paper content and oral presentation. The overall winner will be presented with a $1,000 prize and recognized at the Awards Banquet.



Lakeside BBQ Dinner
There will be a lakeside BBQ dinner on Tuesday evening, 22 August, 1700–1900 hrs. Tickets are included in the registration fee where indicated. Additional tickets may be purchased for $86 at the AIAA registration desk.



Reception
There will be a reception in the exhibit hall on Wednesday, 23 August, at 1730 hrs. Tickets are included in the registration fee where indicated. Additional tickets may be purchased for $55 at the AIAA onsite registration desk.
