“No Paper, No Podium” and “No Podium, No Paper” Policy
This conference has a “No Paper, No Podium” and a “No Podium, No Paper” policy. If a written paper is not submitted by the final manuscript deadline, authors will not be permitted to present the paper at the conference. Also, if the paper is not presented at the conference, the paper will not be published and it will be withdrawn from the conference proceedings. These policies are intended to eliminate no-shows and to improve the quality of the conference for attendees.

Audiovisual
Each session room will be preset with the following: one LCD projector, one screen, and one microphone and sound system (if necessitated by room size). A 1/2” VHS VCR and monitor, an overhead projector, and/or a 35-mm slide projector will be provided if requested by presenters on their abstract submittal forms. AIAA does not provide computers or technicians to connect LCD projectors to computers. Should presenters wish to use an LCD projector, it is their responsibility to bring or arrange for a computer on their own. Please note that AIAA does not provide security in the session rooms, and recommends that items of value, including computers, not be left unattended. Any additional audiovisual requirements, and any equipment not requested by 11 December 2009, will be at cost to the presenter. For additional A/V equipment, please e-mail AIAA at annak@aiaa.org or fax your requests to Event Planner at 703.264.7847. Please note that all requests must be in writing, and must include the paper number and the session number.

Journal Publication
Authors of appropriate papers are encouraged to submit them for possible publication in one of the Institute’s archival journals: AIAA Journal; Journal of Aircraft; Journal of Guidance, Control, and Dynamics; Journal of Propulsion and Power; Journal of Spacecraft and Rockets; Journal of Thermophysics and Heat Transfer; or Journal of Aerospace Computing, Information, and Communication. You may now submit your paper online at www.writetrack.net. (WriteTrack will be replaced by ScholarOne Manuscripts (Thomson Reuters) during 2009. More information about this transition is available on the WriteTrack home page).

Speakers’ Briefing
Authors who are presenting papers will meet for a short briefing with session chairs and co-chairs at 0700 hrs. Continental breakfast will be provided. Please plan to attend on the day of your session(s) only. Room location will be noted in the final program.

Timing of Presentations
Each paper will be allotted 30 minutes (including introduction and question-and-answer period) except where noted.
