Speaker and Session Chair Resources

Speakers’ Briefing
Authors who are presenting papers and session chairpersons will meet for a short briefing at 0700 hrs on the day of their session(s). A continental breakfast will be provided. Speakers’ Briefings will take place at the Colorado Convention Center; check the final program for room location.
Speakers’ Practice
Speakers wishing to practice their presentations may do so at the Colorado Convention Center in Room 701. A sign-up sheet will be posted on the door for 1/2-hour increments (Sunday, 1600–1900 hrs, and Monday through Wednesday, 0700–1800 hrs).
Timing of Presentations
Each paper will be allotted 30 minutes (including introduction and questions-and-answer period) except where noted.
Audiovisual Each session room will be preset with the following: one LCD projector, one screen, and one microphone and sound system (if necessitated by room size). A 1/2” VHS VCR and monitor, an overhead projector, and/or a 35-mm slide projector will only be provided if requested by presenters on their abstract submittal forms. AIAA does not provide computers or technicians to connect LCD projectors to laptop computers. Should presenters wish to use an LCD projector, it is their responsibility to bring or arrange for a computer on their own. Please note that AIAA does not provide security in the session rooms, and recommends that items of value, including computers, not be left unattended. Any additional audiovisual requirements, and any equipment not requested by 16 June 2009, will be at cost to the presenter. Please note that all requests must be in writing, and must include the paper number and the session number.
Committee Meetings
Meetings room locations for AIAA committees will be posted on the message board and will be available upon request in the registration area. Please note: Committee meetings will take place at the Hyatt Regency Denver and at the Colorado Convention Center, depending on scheduling availability, so please check the listing at registration.
Nondiscriminatory Practices
AIAA accepts registration irrespective of race, creed, sex, color, physical handicap, and national or ethnic origin.
Language
The official language of the Joint Propulsion Conference and the International Energy Conversion Conference is English.
