Aerospace Engineering for the K-12 Classroom

If you want to explain the aerospace industry and demystify math and science for your students, this is the workshop for you. Concurrent sessions will focus on hands-on standards based activities. Network with other educators from across the country and share ideas on how to inspire your students.

This event was created for teachers like you who are interested in astronautics and aeronautics and want to learn about the technical side of hands-on activities. The grade level focus is from kindergarten to grade 12; and You will also be able to view a number a elaborate technical exhibits, attend an aerospace plenary session and presentations.

  • Dr. Mark Lewis, incoming AIAA President and Former USAF Chief Scientist
  • Bruce McCandless, Former US Astronaut

    A check made payable to AIAA or credit card information must be included with your registration form. Advance registration forms must be received by 06-Jul-2009. Preregistrants may pick up their materials at the advance registration desk.
