International Space Exposition
In conjunction with the India-United States Conference on Space Sciences,
Applications,
and Commerce, an international exposition will be held that will showcase
Indian and U.S. space capabilities. The exposition will provide an opportunity
for demonstrating
space technology and promoting partnerships and alliances between the two space
communities. Corporations, government agencies, research facilities, educational
institutions, and organizations from India and the United States will display
their products and services in space and allied technology areas, including but
not limited to:
- Satellite communication technology: Design, development, and commerce
of operational and advanced communication satellites and their systems/sub-systems
- Satellite communication application: Unique application of satellite
communication for societal development, including broadcasting, information
diffusion, telemedicine, tele-health, tele-education
- Earth observation technology: Developing and operating state-of-the-art
EO satellite and ground systems for global services with observation capabilities
for land, ocean, and atmosphere
- Earth observation application: Natural resource management, water
cycle, development, and management
- SDI technology and applications: GIS, GPS, image processing, technologies
for spatial data, GIS solutions and services
- Satellite navigation: Control, positioning, navigation and timing,
satellite sub-systems and sub-assemblies
- Manufacturing of satellites: Spacecraft design and system engineering,
power system, optics and control systems
- Aerospace: Design an manufacturing of aircraft; aero engines, components,
structures, and instrumentation; aviation accessories; test; system and services
- Disaster management: Monitoring and rescue operating solutions,
ground support equipment and services
- Ground support: Ground station equipment, antennas, data reception
systems, image processing solutions, software solutions
- New space-based services: Insurance, global weather and climate systems, broadcasting, tourism,
infrastructure, infrastructure development, civic services
Information about Exhibition
Inauguration
The exhibition for the India-United States Conference on Space Science,
Applications, and Commerce will be located at the Hotel Grand Ashok.
The exhibition will officially open at 0845 hrs on Tuesday, 22 June, to be
followed by the conference opening plenary India-U.S. Space Cooperation
and Commerce: Status and Prospects. View
