Los Angeles Section - Local Aeronautical Historical Programs

 

The following aeronautical historical programs are open to the public. These are regular monthly meetings/events for these organizations. This information has been researched and presented by LA AIAA Section Historian, Frederick P. Eade. Planes of Fame: Programs are held on the first Saturday of each month.

7000 Merrill Ave. Chino, CA

 

Red Barons (South): Meetings held on the first Friday of each month. Lunch is served at a cost of $15.00

South bay Grill, 323805 Torrance Blvd., Torrance, CA

 

International Plastic Model Society (IPMS)- Northrop: First Friday of each month, 7:00 PM.

Gate 16, Northrop, Crenshaw Blvd.

 

Museum of Flying: Free historical presentations on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM.

 

Red Barons (North): Meetings held on the third Friday of each month. Lunch is served at a cost of $15.00

Alpine Village, 833 W. Torrance Blvd. at 210 Fwy.

 

North-Grumman Boosters: Free historical programs on the last Wednesday of each month at 5:00 PM. Refreshments served with donation.
