Annual Picnic and Awards (This Page)

ALOHA! It is that time of year again, time for our annual picnic. This year our annual picnic will be held on July 15, 2000 and the fun will start at 11:00 AM. The theme is Hawaiian so pull out your Hawaiian shirts and mumus and hula on down to Columbia Park in Torrance (Prairie/190th).

The cost per person will be just $5.00 and kids under 12 eat for FREE. The menu will be Hawaiian Tri-Tip, Bar-B-Que Chicken, rice, noodles, macaroni salad, Maui cabbage salad, Waikiki fruit salad, Hawaiian Punch, iced tea, and Honolulu Sweet Cake.

There will be games and activities for all ages. We will have a lei contest, so start thinking creatively and put together a wonderful lei for the occasion. Prizes will be given for the best, most unique, and best overall designs. If enough kids come we will also have a ‘moon bounce’ so RSVP quickly - especially if bringing your children.

Awards will also be presented to those celebrating AIAA anniversaries and recognition of our outgoing council’s hard work and dedication. Also, you will get a chance to meet the officers for the 2000-2001 term.
