Hi, my name is Chuck Kilmer and I am your new Section Chairman for the 2000-2001 term. The team that you elected for Committee is formed and is busy planning to make this next year the best ever. The aerospace field is facing a set of unique challenges and the AIAA will be in the forefront to meet those challenges. The LA Section has always been the leader in aerospace trends and we will continue to provide that leadership. The committee needs your help to provide that leadership. We don’t need a lot of your time, just a little, perhaps an hour a month. If you are interested in helping out, please contact
Charity Lawson.In this edition of the newsletter, we have included a Membership Survey (page 6). In an effort to make sure we are meeting the needs of our section membership, I ask that you take the time to complete this survey and return it to us. This survey will also appear in a letter to the membership (with a postage paid return envelope), on our section website, and in the email version of the newsletter.
