Each year, AIAA hosts a Regional Leadership Conference which is attended by local section leaders. The conference is designed to enhance the leadership skills of attendees and give them new strategies for Section success. The 2000 Regional Leadership Conference was held in Las Vegas, Nevada. The registration fees are complimentary for Region and Section Officers. This year, Chuck Kilmer, Charity Lawson, Keith Comeaux, and Jeff Chi of the Los Angeles Section attended the conference. In the course of the upcoming year, these individuals as well as other council members will be implementing the skills and ideas learned at the conference. So, watch for these changes and let us know how we are serving you.

The conference isn’t all work and no play. The attendees shared an evening at the Excalibur enjoying the King Arthur’s Tournament dinner show based on the legend of King Arthur. Many participates also took in many of the sites of Las Vegas, including the Star Trek Experience at the Hilton.
