The Defiance by Shelly Brimmeier

The AGATE (Advanced General Aviation Transport Experiments) National Design Competition provides the university community the opportunity to partner with NASA, the FAA, and the aerospace industry in a joint effort to revitalize US general aviation.

Shelly Brimmeier, a member of the Penn State AGATE design team, will present The Defiance, a 4-seat, Williams EJ-22 turbofan-powered aircraft that has placed in the competition. The award will be announced at the Experimental Aircraft Association's Annual Convention and Fly-In at Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
