Todd Farley

Todd is a research engineer at NASA Ames in the Aviation Systems Division.
His professional interests relate to the design of automation for commercial aviation applications.

At NASA, Todd is investigating designs for automation tools which will help air traffic controllers reduce departure and arrival delays and increase terminal area throughput.

Prior to joining NASA, Todd was a systems engineer with Honeywell Commercial Aviation Systems in Phoenix, where he led the design, certification and flight test of the windshear detection & guidance system now flying aboard Delta Air Lines' narrowbody fleet.

Todd earned his Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering at Duke University and a Master's degree in Aeronautics & Astronautics at MIT.

Todd makes his home in Mountain View, California where he enjoys playing soccer, piano, tennis and flying.
