At NASA, Todd is investigating designs for automation tools which will help air traffic controllers reduce departure and arrival delays and increase terminal area throughput.
Prior to joining NASA, Todd was a systems engineer with Honeywell Commercial Aviation Systems in Phoenix, where he led the design, certification and flight test of the windshear detection & guidance system now flying aboard Delta Air Lines' narrowbody fleet.

Todd earned his Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering at Duke University and a Master's degree in Aeronautics & Astronautics at MIT.
Todd makes his home in Mountain View, California where he enjoys playing soccer, piano, tennis and flying.
