Many organizations have participated in the Unstructured Grid Consortium.

The UGC steering committee consists of members from:

• Air Force Research Laboratory
• Naval Air Warfare Center
• NASA Langley Research Center
• The Boeing Company
• Lockheed Martin.
• Arnold Engineering Development Center
• Mississippi State University
• Pointwise
• The University of Tennessee

Primary support for the UGC comes from member organizations.  Individual members donate time and resources to attend meetings and participate in the consortium.  On a voluntary basis, members have also contributed software and technology to the consortium.  The UGC standards development effort has been sponsored by the Air Force Research Lab.
