The SETC has been active in joint conference participation since 1996 when members began writing papers and giving presentations at AIAA sponsored conferences.

Recently, the TC supports and runs the Systems Engineering Track of the Digital Avionics Systems Conference (DASC). It is usually comprised of five to seven sessions ranging from Panels on ‘Hot Topics’ in Avionics like COTS procurement to focused paper sessions on systems engineering standards.

The SETC also participates in its Engineering and Technology Management Directorate’s ‘DELTA FORUM’ which is held during the AIAA Aerospace Sciences Conference in Reno. The DELTA FORUM addresses global issues in the focus areas from each TC in this directorate.
