The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics has over 60 technical committees dedicated to aeronautical and astronautical engineering and sciences as well as related fields of technology, management, and history.

The SLTC is one of the technical committees in the Space and Missiles Systems Group.  The other committees in this group are:
