ADAM II

ADAM II
ADAM (Air Deflection and Modulation) research started in 1958, and a result was this ADAM II. This propulsive wing concept was hoped to be applied to commerical and military needs. Partially funded by the Air Force and the Army. At the time, a 14-ton strike-reconnaisance for the Air Force and an eight-ton craft for the Army were envisioned. A 75-ton military/civil transport was also thought possible.
