    Below you will find supplemental materials and background details about the proposed changes to AIAA’s Constitution and Bylaws, links to communications from AIAA leadership, a convenient one-page handout that explains why changes are needed, and a link to the presentation from AIAA’s Governance Working Group (GWG).

     

    • In May 2016, AIAA members voted to accept the proposed Constitution change by a margin of 91.8% in favor and 8.2% against.

    • In December 2013, Ken Sanger presented this presentation on behalf of the Blue Ribbon Panel.  
       
    • In January and February 2015, the GWG prepared and completed the AIAA Gap Analysis which identifies where current Institute performance did not meet the desired performance requirements for future growth.
