SPACE reports that a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket successfully lifted off Tuesday morning sending Orbital ATK’s Cygnus cargo capsule into orbit on its way to rendezvous with and resupply the International Space Station.  Launch occurred at 11:11 a.m. EDT from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida under partly cloudy skies.  Cygnus is carrying more than 7,600 pounds of supplies, including “clothes, food, water, equipment and science experiments for the space station crew.” (Image Credit: NASA)
