Honored for Significant Accomplishment in Space Exploration and Inspiring Global Fascination with Space

The 2013 American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) Foundation’s Award for Excellence has been won by the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory’s Mars Science Laboratory (MSL) Curiosity Rover team. The award will be presented on May 8 at the AIAA Aerospace Spotlight Awards Gala, at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, in Washington, D.C.

The team is being honored “for significant accomplishment in space exploration, inspiring global fascination with space.”
