The launch of India’s Mars Orbiter Mission has been delayed for at least a week because bad weather has prevented tracking ships from reaching their intended location near Fiji Island. NASA/JPL is also providing communications and navigation support to this mission with their deep space network facilities. An announcement on the final launch date is expected 22 October. The launch window extends to 19 November. (Image: An artist's concept of the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. Credit: NASA)
