SpaceX CEO Elon Musk unveiled the Dragon V2 Thursday evening, the manned version of the cargo spacecraft already making deliveries to the ISS. Musk touted the fact that it should be able to be relaunched relatively frequently because it has the “accuracy of a helicopter” when landing, thus revolutionizing access to space. John Logsdon, professor emeritus of Political Science and International Affairs at George Washington University, said that SpaceX and Boeing are now more or less neck and neck in their competition to develop a spacecraft for NASA’s Commercial Crew Program, but both have more work to do.
