Piper General Aviation Award

Formerly the General Aviation Award, the Piper General Aviation Award is presented for outstanding contributions leading to the advancement of general aviation; honoring William T. Piper, Sr., who made the name Piper synonymous with general aviation. Beginning in 2010, the award is presented biennially (even numbered years) at the AIAA Aviation and Aeronautics Forum (AVIATION). The next award will be presented in 2018. Nomination Deadline: 1 October 2017
