The Institute is dedicated to the continuous improvement of AIAA SciTech Forum to ensure the forum remains fresh, exciting, informative, and a great experience. Below is what's new to the 2024 AIAA Scitech Forum.
AIAA Events App
The AIAA Events App is the official app of the 2024 AIAA SciTech Forum. The platform will allow you to easily access the program, speakers, forum schedule, exhibitors, and technical paper abstracts. In-app only features include the following:
- Set up your profile
- Create your personalized on-site schedule
- Bookmark sessions and speakers
- Sync your planer (desktop schedule) to your mobile device
- Network with other attendees (login required for all parties)
- Take notes on sessions you attend
- Access information such as the final program and technical program matrix
Compelling Content Corner
Throughout the week at the forum, we invite you to attend a number of sessions highlighting the submissions we received through the Call for Content. Explore a wide range of topics including artificial intelligence, diversity, equity, and inclusion, power and propulsion, and more. Compelling Content Corner sessions are designated as SS-01, SS-02, etc., in the forum program.
Idea Challenge: The Artemis Generation Speaks
The Idea Challenge provides an opportunity for young professionals to collaborate with peers and present their ideas and viewpoints on some of the most important issues impacting the aerospace industry today and into the future during a Forum 360 session at the forum.
KSP Differential Game Challenge
Over the past few months, MIT Lincoln Laboratory has hosted a software design competition where participating teams created agents designed to engage in non-cooperative space operations (e.g., pursuing an evasive satellite, multi-satellite proximity operations, etc.). The best performing teams have been invited to present their software via a live demonstration during this session at the forum.
Meet the Universities
This session offers students and young professionals attending the forum the opportunity to meet with representatives from university master’s and doctoral programs and find out how they can help you advance your education and research goals.
Student Lounge (Sponsored by Lockheed Martin)
Situated in the Regency Rotunda on the Convention Level, the student lounge serves as a hub for student attendees to mingle with fellow students and discuss the day’s events in a relaxed and comfortable environment. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Please note that the student lounge is for students only. Below are the lounge hours:
- Monday, 8 January, 0930–1730 hrs ET
- Tuesday, 9 January, 0700–1730 hrs ET
- Wednesday, 10 January, 0700–1730 hrs ET
- Thursday, 11 January, 0700–1730 hrs ET
- Friday, 12 January, 0700–1200 hrs ET
On-Demand Webinar: The U.S. Aerospace Workforce: Obstacles and Opportunities
The global workforce has changed significantly over the past few years. During this webinar, an esteemed panel of aerospace leaders delved into the obstacles and opportunities relating to the U.S. aerospace workforce.
