    Hap Arnold Award for Excellence in Aeronautical Program Management
    The Hap Arnold Award for Excellence in Aeronautical Program Management, established in 1997, was named in honor of General Henry “Hap” Arnold, a life-long devotee to the concept of air power and Chief of the Army Air Corps in 1938. The award is presented to an individual for outstanding contributions in the management of a significant aeronautical or aeronautical related program or project. This annual award is generally presented at the AIAA Aviation and Aeronautics Forum (AVIATION).
    Nomination Deadline: 1 October


    Multidisciplinary Design Optimization Award
    Established in 1993, the Multidisciplinary Design Optimization Award is presented to an individual for outstanding contributions to the development and/or application of techniques of multidisciplinary design optimization in the context of aerospace engineering. This award is presented biennially (in even-numbered years) at the AIAA Aviation and Aeronautics Forum (AVIATION).
    Nomination Deadline: 1 February


    von Braun Award for Excellence in Space Program Management
    Established in 1987, the von Braun Award for Excellence in Space Program Management gives national recognition to an individual (or individuals) for outstanding contributions in the management of a significant space or space-related program or project. The award honors Dr. Wernher von Braun, who was one of the world's first and foremost rocket engineers and a leading authority on space travel. This annual award is generally presented at the AIAA Space and Astronautics Forum (SPACE).
    Nomination Deadline: 1 February
