Establish Professional Relationships and Friendships that will Last a Lifetime.

How? By taking part in your AIAA Regional Student Conference and the AIAA Foundation International Student Conference. Here you’ll have the chance to present your research in a formal technical meeting atmosphere. Just as important, you’ll exchange ideas and discuss programs with students from other schools in your region.

Present Your Research for Cash Prizes and More

Talk about opportunity! Every AIAA regional student conference encourages students to present research papers. You’ll compete for three cash prizes in graduate and undergraduate categories.

First-place regional winners are then invited to the AIAA Foundation International Student Conference, held during the AIAA SciTech Forum each January. AIAA picks up the tab for your travel expenses and hotel accommodations.

There are seven student paper conferences in the U.S. and one in Australia each year. For information about locations and times of the regional student paper conferences, visit the Regional Student Paper Conference Portal.

Please contact Rachel Dowdy with any questions regarding the Regional Student Paper Conferences at racheld@aiaa.org or 703.264.7577.
