She is extremely active in her community, serving as president of her department's Student Advisory Council, a mentor to younger students through Sigma Gamma Tau, and the Expansion subcommittee chair for the National Women of Aeronautics and Astronautics (WoAA) organization. Through her time in college, she has been fortunate to complete internships with HAECO Cabin Solutions in Manufacturing Engineering and with The Boeing Company in Flight Sciences. She is also an AIAA ASCEND Diversity Scholar and an avid public speaker, working to empower women and gender minorities to excel in STEM and aerospace.
