Study Recommends Federal Role For Airport UAS Protection

Aviation Week reports that a six-month study by the Blue Ribbon Task Force on Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Mitigation at Airports recommends a federal role for U.S. and Canadian governments to assist with UAS protection. The report asserted, “Without a robust federal role, an unacceptable security gap will continue to exist at many airports across the U.S. and Canada.” (Image Credit: Associated Press-©)
