“I always valued AIAA conferences, especially as a scientist this is “the place to go and participate”; the community and support by AIAA to publish the work is just great! Also, I always meet new interesting persons and the speakers during the event are always motivated and you can “rub shoulders” with very influential persons, who are will to exchange thoughts and give you valuable tips. Also, the event is great for students to engage with industry, it has always been fun to participate.”

“From my experience, getting in personal contact with peers is oftentimes more valuable than just presenting one’s research to an anonymous crowd. These discussions can be very inspiring and motivating. Research can be a quite lonely occupation when feedback is missing. Scientific conferences can provide the impression that someone actually cares. This has often been the case at AIAA AVIATION.”
