AIAA ignites and celebrates ingenuity and collaboration and ensures aerospace professionals are recognized for their contributions to making the world safer, more connected, more prosperous—from the major missions that reinvent our national uses of air and space, to the inventive new applications that enhance everyday living.
Join us at the AIAA Aerospace Spotlight Awards Gala when we celebrate the accomplishments of preeminent individuals who have long and highly contributory careers in aerospace on 30 April 2014, at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, DC.
This black-tie occasion provides you with the unique opportunity to invite officials and constituents from the DoD, NASA, the FAA, and other government agencies for an evening of socializing and celebration. Tables are $3,200 and reservations are needed by Monday, 17 February. Individual seats are $320 and may also be reserved online.

- AIAA Foundation Award for Excellence - X-51A WaveRider Team, Air Force Research Laboratories, Aerojet Rocketdyne, and Boeing
- Goddard Astronautics Award - Mr. Glynn S. Lunney, NASA, Rockwell, United Space Alliance
- Reed Aeronautics Award - Dr. Ben T. Zinn, Georgia Institute of Technology
- International Cooperation Award - Professor John E. LaGraff, Syracuse University
- Public Service Award - Dr. Kathie L. Olsen, ScienceWorks
- Distinguished Service Award - Dr. Michael I. Yarymovych, Sarasota Space Associates
- Daniel Guggenheim Medal - Abraham Karem, Karem Aircraft, Inc.
We'll also be honoring the 2014 Fellows and Honorary Fellows. Honorary Fellows are:
