Two Carriers Ground Boeing 787 Dreamliners Due To Faulty Rolls-Royce Engine Turbines Written 8 December 2017
The Financial Times reports that two carriers using Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines had to ground their aircraft due to faulty turbines. Rolls-Royce may face additional expenses as a result. The Puget Sound Business Journal reports that Boeing 787 Dreamliners were affected in both cases. Boeing “said it is working with the engine maker and airlines to address the issue.”
