Blue Origin Successfully Tests New Shepard Safety Systems Written 19 July 2018
The Washington Post reports that Blue Origin successfully completed the ninth flight of its “New Shepard rocket Wednesday, wrapping up another test of the vehicle’s escape system as the company works toward its first human space flight as soon as this year.” The booster and spacecraft launched from the company’s test site in West Texas around 11 a.m. EDT and then “performed a test designed to ferry passengers to safety in the case of an emergency."
