NASA Releases Images of Mars Insight Lander from Space Written 14 December 2018

CNET News reports that NASA released views of its Mars Insight lander taken from the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) satellite, which “snapped images of the lander, its heat shield and its parachute on the planet’s surface.” The images were taken from the MRO’s HiRise camera. The images helped NASA to “pinpoint the lander’s location, which is within its original target zone.”
