Aviation Week reports that Gulfstream Aerospace set a “world speed record in a G650ER on a flight from Teterboro, New Jersey, to Dubai, a distance of 6,142 nm in 11 hr., 2 min. at an average speed of Mach 0.90.” The flight beat the previous record by one hour, 48 minutes, according to Gulfstream.
