Aviation Week  reports that “the North Dakota Commerce Department will invest $33 million to help develop the state’s infrastructure for flying unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) of ground operators, Gov. Doug Burgum (R-N.D.) announced.” The University of North Dakota, Harris Corporation, and the Grand Sky Business and Aviation Park will partner with the state government in “developing a 100-mile-long” UAS corridor.
