The AP reported that the North Carolina Department of Transportation’s Division of Aviation “has begun an online survey to gather comment about” UAS from state residents. According to Division of Aviation UAS Program Manager Basil Yap, the department seeks to incorporate public comments when formulating UAS policy. The online survey “asks for comments about the current and future applications of drones, including noise, privacy and safety issues, and the improvements to people’s live such as assistance with search-and-rescue operations.” (Image Credit: Associated Press–©)
