NASA to Broadcast Departure of HTV-8 Spacecraft from ISS Written 29 October 2019

The Houston Chronicle reports that NASA’s website will broadcast the departure of “a Japanese cargo spacecraft from the International Space Station.” The HTV-8 transport vehicle “will depart the space station at 1:20 p.m. Friday.” NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Christina Koch “will take the control of the space station’s robotic arm to release the spacecraft.” The Japanese transport spacecraft “will be commanded to deorbit on Saturday, Nov. 2, and burn up harmlessly in the Earth’s atmosphere.”
