Boeing To Invest $1B Into Pilot Training Written 7 November 2019

Reuters reports that The Boeing Company is planning to invest $1 billion into “industry-wide pilot development” as part of its “Global Aviation Safety” initiative, according to sources. A person familiar with the project said, “It will involve significant funds to raise standards around the world and requires Boeing putting its own money in.” Boeing will begin the program after regulators have approved the 737 MAX to fly again.
