The AP reports that on Thursday, Virgin Galactic CEO George Whitesides indicated that “Virgin Galactic is on the verge of making more history in 2020 following an ‘incredible’ year of progress.” Whitesides said that after a busy year, which included the company’s IPO debut on the NYSE, “now hopefully you can start enjoying the benefits of having a world-changing technology and service right here” at Spaceport America in New Mexico. He added, “Virgin Galactic is happening and it’s happening here.”
