Boeing, Airbus Examining How Coronavirus Spreads On Aircraft Written 27 May 2020

The Wall Street Journal reports that The Boeing Company and Airbus are collaborating with academics, engineers, and medical experts to study how the novel coronavirus behaves on airliners and how manufacturers can minimize the spread of the virus. Boeing said that it is working on computer models to examine how the virus spreads, while Airbus is working with universities. The FAA has been discussing the matter with Boeing, Airbus, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to determine what risk the virus poses for travelers.
